Oh please. Like that’s ever going to happen. Ever. The streets don’t exist in the way they did in the Sixties—okay, Cal student protests recently took to Telegraph Avenue, but that’s like one street—and as for building a powerful movement … American Idol, that’s the powerful movement America wants, likes, is willing to spend coin texting those votes… and it doesn’t require leaving the house. You noticed.

Well put. There is a solution, but damned if I know what it is yet. well, actually I do know the solution and I’ll share it with you. I just don’t know how to effect it…
We have to tax the bejesus out of the rich, the shareholders, the privileged few. One one-hundredth of one percent (0.01%) of Americans control twenty-two percent of America’s wealth. Ten percent control 96% of America’s wealth. That’s the sweet spot, the demographic that owes a lot to the country and doesn’t pay its fair share. The sad fact is that the privileged few have bamboozled the underclass into thinking that all taxes are bad.
So all we have to do is confiscate a lot of the loot of Larry Ellison and his ilk. Joe the Plumber’s taxes won’t go up a dime but we can find funding to pay down the debt, support Health Care Reform, and even rebuild our crumbling infrastructure. The money is there. How do we the people elect a congress that will seize it.
