this absolutely reminds me of someone i read and respect more with each passing year. to recap, it all began with your fearless comments at barlow’s blog. you were someone who’s words jumped out at me and i loved that!

what’s getting to me is that i know what Derrida means by that half-sleep panic thing. in fact, i have submitted to those panicked thoughts many times, and decided against writing things because of those thoughts. how sad is that?

  • annie says:

sigh… and i really do know the difference between who’s and whose.

  • zo says:

oh Annie. what can i say. to have someone to write to is a writer’s dream. you’ve meant the earth and stars to me.

learning how to ignore the half-sleep panic thoughts is half, at least, the battle to becoming a writer … isn’t this video just uncanny.
