Apple has been issuing a stream of fixes for MobileMe—Apple? The one in Cupertino?—that can only mean, Steve finally tried to use DotMobileMacMe—something he had not heretofore actually attempted—and instantly perceived, This thing is fucked! I can’t sell iPhones with this p.o.c.!
And presto. The website’s revamped, it’s so fast it’s scary, support pages issue forth in unprecedented manner. Can you tell? I’ve been a customer of Apple plain ol’ Computer all these years. Which means that if I do in fact have shorts, (unclear on concept) they always had me by them. Thanks, iPhone buyers. I guess.
From a new How-To on syncing: (A How-To! How … plebian.)
As if it were a swarm of bees, you should stay away from the SyncServices folder in Mac OS X.
Charming, if odd as hell. There are humans at Apple?
You should also stay away from your computer any time it’s updating. Angry bees. Killer bees.
Oh the problems, the great sobbing disasters, after every major update. My advice: give it a wipe, fool, you in too deep. The smart business tactic is to support the ignorant fuckers online. Which would allow those of us who actually know our machine has a problem to get through to 1-800-myapple.
I’m going to start a new blog. “You Touched It, Didn’t You.”
Thank you all for your extreme patience during this trying time. If you have been affected by this issue and are still having problems we have established a dedicated chat line to reach a MobileMe Mail specialist for help.
Dedicated Chat? … Apple? The one in Cupertino?
I have to go lie down.
